At AAWAZ, we strive to provide a seamless and valuable experience for all our members. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have designed our refund policy to be fair and transparent. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for membership subscriptions.
This Refund Policy applies to all membership plans purchased through the AAWAZ platform, including individual, family, and any promotional or discounted plans. It covers subscriptions purchased via our website, mobile application, or any authorized third-party payment channel.
This Refund Policy is part of and subject to our Terms of Service. By purchasing a membership, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial membership purchase, provided you have not redeemed any discounts or offers through the platform during this period. This cooling-off period ensures you have time to evaluate the service.
If AAWAZ is unable to provide the services described in your membership plan due to platform-wide technical issues lasting more than 7 consecutive days, you are eligible for a prorated refund for the affected period.
If you have been charged multiple times for the same membership period due to a technical error or payment processing issue, you will receive a full refund for the duplicate charge(s) immediately upon verification.
If a membership was purchased without your authorization, you may request a full refund. AAWAZ may require you to provide supporting documentation, such as proof of unauthorized access, and may involve law enforcement if fraud is suspected.
Refunds will not be issued if you have already used any discount or offer through your AAWAZ membership during the current billing period, regardless of the number of times used. Once a membership benefit has been availed, the subscription is considered utilized.
Refund requests made after the 7-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase or renewal will not be processed, unless they fall under the specific eligibility criteria outlined above (service unavailability, duplicate charges, or unauthorized transactions).
Memberships obtained through promotional offers at zero or significantly reduced cost, free trials, or gift codes are not eligible for monetary refunds. If a promotional plan auto-renews at the regular price, the standard refund policy applies to the renewed subscription.
If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service — including but not limited to fraudulent activity, sharing credentials, or creating multiple accounts — no refund will be provided for any remaining subscription period.
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@meriaawaz.com or through the in-app Help & Support section. Include your registered phone number, membership plan details, and the reason for the refund request. Our team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
To process your refund efficiently, please provide: (a) your registered phone number or email address, (b) the transaction ID or payment receipt, (c) the date of purchase, (d) a clear description of the reason for the refund request, and (e) any supporting documentation if applicable.
All refund requests are reviewed by our support team within 3-5 business days. We may contact you for additional information or clarification during this period. You will receive an email notification once your refund request has been approved or denied, along with the reason for the decision.
Once a refund is approved, the processing time depends on your payment method. Credit/debit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account. UPI and net banking refunds are usually processed within 3-7 business days. Wallet refunds are processed within 1-3 business days.
Please note that while AAWAZ initiates the refund promptly after approval, the actual credit to your account depends on your bank or payment provider's processing time. AAWAZ is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., expired card or closed bank account), we will work with you to find an alternative refund method, which may include an AAWAZ credit for future use.
You can cancel your membership at any time through your Account Settings in the app or website, or by contacting our support team. Cancellation will prevent your membership from auto-renewing at the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation, you will continue to have access to all membership benefits until the end of your current paid billing period. Once the billing period expires, your account will be downgraded to a free tier, and you will lose access to premium discounts and offers.
If your membership auto-renews and you did not intend to continue, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the renewal charge, provided you have not used any membership benefits during the new billing period. After 48 hours, the standard refund policy applies.
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may request an escalation by replying to the decision email or contacting our support team with the subject line 'Refund Dispute.' Our senior support team will review your case within 5 business days and provide a final resolution.
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team first. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly through our support channels.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to override your statutory consumer rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws. If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory local laws, the local laws will prevail.
If a significant number of partner businesses in your area permanently close or stop honoring AAWAZ discounts, making the membership substantially less valuable, you may request a prorated refund. Each case will be evaluated individually based on the impact on your membership value.
If AAWAZ makes significant changes to the membership features or pricing that materially reduce the value of your current plan, you will be notified in advance and given the option to cancel with a prorated refund before the changes take effect.
In the event of circumstances beyond AAWAZ's control (natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, government orders, etc.) that prevent the delivery of services for an extended period, AAWAZ will extend your membership for the affected duration or offer a prorated refund at its discretion.
AAWAZ reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on the platform. The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
For significant changes to this Refund Policy, we will provide you with notice through the platform, email, or other appropriate means at least 15 days before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Any changes to this Refund Policy will apply to new purchases and renewals made after the effective date of the change. Refund requests for subscriptions purchased before the policy change will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
